# Check number on Transactions

`checkNumber` is now available on the following transaction APIs

* [/account/:id/transactions](https://docs.mercury.com/reference/transactions-1)
* [/account/:id/transaction/:transactionId](https://docs.mercury.com/reference/accountidtransactiontransactionid)

The `checkNumber` value is populated if a transaction is related to either an inbound or outbound check.
